Since Galileo's inception, Compagnie de Suez (now GDF Suez) has been a core advisory client. The connection with the GDF Suez dates back to their acquisition of Societe Generale de Belgique, where they recruited Georges Ugeux as the SGB’s CFO. This assignment is ongoing.
We advise them on international strategy as well as on issues relating to their US listing, which they decided to relinquish. The main assignments involved issues related to financing, disposals, emerging markets strategy, as well as capital markets.
