Guangzhou Municipality
Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong Province, is the third largest city in China, Southern China's key transportation hub and trading port. It is the leading city in the Pearl River Delta Economy Region, which accounts for approximately one third of China's trade value. Guangzhou's main industries include among others, auto, iron & steel, chemicals, shipbuilding, machinery and equipment, telecom, technology and hospitality.
Galileo Global Advisors, Guangzhou Municipal Board for International Investment (GMBII), and the Bureau of Economics & Trades (BET) of Nansha Development Zone in Guangzhou, signed a Memorandum of Understanding in May 2010, which recognizes Galileo Global Advisors as the official partner of BET and GMBII in its Guangzhou activities. The partnership aims to develop investment opportunities for international companies in the Nansha Development Zone and in the city of Guangzhou as a whole.
The partnership provides Galileo a unique position in assisting foreign companies and investors to identify opportunities in Guangzhou and facilitate the investment process.
